In most of the cases that we have been involved in, we have always seen a correlation between trust and results over time.

If the relationship has a history of distrust or different degrees of distrust in all your interactions, then it will take much longer to build any type of relationship between you.

When we meet new clients I always try to find out early on if they know about us or if they just found us on the internet, the reason for that is that you have to approach each situation due to what they know about you or not.

The lesser they know about you, the more they think you are too expensive or just out to get their money because it’s just a cost without any trustworthy reference to any kind of results.

The more they can interact to know you better and the more you can secure a bond of trust between you, the more likely it is that they are going to be interested in whatever service or product you are providing them with.

Well, any of above can be said to be obvious, but if you take a look on your own or other companies’ ways of interacting with you, then I am sure you can see both good and bad examples.

I would like to recommend you asking yourself the next time you are reaching out to a potential client ;

How can I build trust in my interactions to this client?
What can I do differently from what I have done up to now in my endeavor of finding new clients?
In what way can I alter my approach to make sure he or she has time for me and will find it of interest to talk to me?

So the next time you make a phone call to a company, don’t make a cold call, make sure it is warm one, because if they don’t know you, and you are calling out of the blue you will be in most cases wasting their and your own time.

If you don’t know how to make a warm call and you are ploughing through endless list of potential clients, at least get some training, trying to win them over by arguing is in most cases a waste of time for both of you.

Trust me, I get several calls a day and none of them impress or build trust, it’s in all cases a waste of time, and once I hear who is calling, I just hang up and block the number.

I am doing some warm calls myself, and non has ever hanged up on me yet, why?
Well that’s for me to know and you to find out, if you would like to hire us.
